REVEREND GARY L. COLTER was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He is happily married to his wife, Diane Colter, for 32 years and has two wonderful children, Darius and Danielle Colter. He graduated from the Manhattan Bible Institute with a certificate in Evangelism and graduated from Capella University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. He is presently attending Alliance Theological Seminary and will complete his Master of Divinity in May 2020.
In 2013, God called Gary L. Colter to the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church of Peekskill, NY where he serves as their Pastor. Under Pastor Colter’s leadership, the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church is growing and thriving. In July 2019, Gary was elected President of The Central Hudson Baptist Association’s Congress of Christian Education, and Area V.P of the Empire State Convention.
His mission is to preach until the walls that separate us shatter; Love God, Love People and Make Disciples; and his vision is to see people Saved, Healed, Set Free, Discipled, Equipped and Empowered.
Mount Lebanon is blessed to have him at the helm !
