10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 1 Corinthians 2:10-12

Mission Statement
The Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Scholarship Ministry Seeks to
provide financial and information support to college bound High School seniors.
In an increasing global society where competition continues to grow, the
students of the 21st century
must be equipped with a college degree in order to be successful. The Mount
Lebanon Baptist Church Scholarship Ministry helps make the dream of attaining a
college degree possible. The funds provided by the church help bridge the gaps
in the financial support provided by schools, the federal government and the
students’ households. These funds cover the costs of resources like, but not
limited to, books, technology, transportation, fees and food for college
students. The workshops and informational sessions provide students with
resources necessary to help them find the institution right for them.
Committee Functions
The Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Scholarship Committee oversees the awarding of scholarships. The committee also seeks to publicize to the congregation other scholarship and award opportunities sponsored by groups outside of the church. Mount Lebanon Baptist Church scholarship awards are presented to graduating seniors during the month of August, prior to departing for college.
